Here’s my performance of Sára Žalčíková’s Sonata in the 5th Anton G. Rubinstein International Piano Competition’s semifinals, for which the work was commissioned, on September 30, 2012:

This video is a result of my finally figuring out how to trim videos (pulled from the competition’s video archives) via the video editor Avidemux, through which I made the above video accordingly. It can now be found on my Videos page.

The media crew at the event ran out of disk space, so some semifinal performances of piano concertos with the school’s student orchestra earlier that day were not recorded. I had played Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in D-flat Major, Op. 10.
