Here lie some sheets, on which I was working today, to a draft of the completely damper pedal-less “Toccata in A-flat Major,” begun Nov. 2008, and ignored literally for years. This will probably be my next completed work.

Shucks. I just noticed that that third-to-last note should be natural, not flat. Haha, it’s a good thing that I snapped this shot! That southern-most whole passage was envisioned definitely in 2008-09: just re-notated for neatness (I tend to do that a lot…). Composition is an epic, visual art.
